Job requirements of Production Operative: We are looking for a Production Operative to join our established team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production. Shift Pattern: 1) Days: 4 shifts per week on a 3 week rotating shift pattern, 06:40 – 17:10 (40 hours) 2) Days: Tuesday – Saturday, 06:40 – 17:10 (50 hours) 3) Nights: Monday – Friday 17:10 – 01:40 (40 hours) - part time to be considered Duties · To support with the general production of our chicken products, duties will include; operating machinery, packing and keeping the production area clean and tidy. · Abiding to Food Safety, Hygiene and COSHH to ensure safe production of our products. · Duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the factory needs What you will need: · Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative · Enjoy working to targets in a fast paced environment · Possess high standards of work · Have a basic level of both written and verbal English · Enjoy working as part of a team · Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry, however this is not necessary as full training will be provided Pay and benefits: 1) Rate of Pay - £13.36 per hour (inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus), 2) Rate of Pay - £14.06 per hour (inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus) 3) Rate of Pay - £14.10 per hour (inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus) · Auto enrolment into our company pension scheme · Access to our ‘Feed your Wellbeing’ hub, offering a range of retail, restaurant and entertainment discounts and wellbeing support · Cycle to work scheme · Discounted local gym membership · Death in service insurance · Free Parking and Canteen facilities If you are an internal applicant, please ensure you have made your line manager aware before applying.
