DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role Reporting to Country Manager, the role will be responsible to develop, maintain and manage a 3X funnel based on vendor's set revenue targets, quantify marketing investments, drive and set objectives for each marketing activity. This role will report to Country Manager As The Business Development Manager, You Will Do regularly market research to understand technology trend, customer’s strategy, and investment trends to identify business opportunities and develop sales strategy targeting to potential customers. Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy on selling key vendors to potential customers. Build strong relationship with the existing end-users, expand and develop to new potential customers Working closely (direct touch or hi-touch) with end-users and focused partners from the beginning stage in meeting set-up, solutions introduction/consultation for pipeline creation until opportunities closure Build strong relationships with industry professionals, competitors, vendors, alliances….. to understand the market potentiality and capture new opportunities. Work closely with Product manager, Technical Team and Marketing Manager and Channel Team to create, manage and close sales opportunities. Key Measurements Meet or exceed the revenue and gross profit (GP) targets set by Country Manager 2x-3x pipeline heath based on vendor’s set revenue target Set up at least 3 meetings per weeks with end-users to introduce solutions/POC Execute at least ONE (1) marketing event each quarter QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you The Ideal Business Development Manager At least 3 years of experiences in Sales and Business development IT industry, preferrable for whom works from local systems integrators and cover SMB accounts/end customers. Graduated from University of Technology or has Major/Degree in Information Technology Great negotiation and presentation skills A problems solver Relevant experience with resellers will be an added advantage Excellent network with strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly motivated, results oriented, resourceful with lots of initiative Hunting and farming mindset.
