We are hiring the best talent for **Payroll Analyst - Fixed Term **, to be located in: Bogotá, Colombia. **Payroll Operations**: - Reconcile and validate payment mass uploads from all affiliates for each pay period, perform S2T,GTG controls. - Support audits, reconciliations, system interfaces, pay slip compliance, reporting, and fulfillment. - Perform the examination and verification of payroll related data for accuracy and consistency. - Maintain compliance with all company, federal, state, local, and other applicable requirements, including SOX compliance. - Analyze financial data and provide input to the payroll supervisor/manager. - Subject matter authority on payroll operations procedures. Work with the supervisor/manager and Service Center Documentation team to contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of documentation (Work Instructions) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes. Partner with the supervisor/manager to assure version control, retention, and inventory of associated documentation. - Assist the supervisor/manager or supervisor with day-to-day task planning and special projects - Support the payroll reporting for monthly, quarterly and year end close. **Business Improvement & Alignment**: - Assure the perfection on deliver the payroll payments on times. - Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Payroll Operations. - Performed and development, reporting, and review of metrics to drive performance, identify trends, and develop/implement process improvements, bring up issues and proposed solutions as appropriate. **Teamwork and Individual Development**: - Participate in and support departmental initiatives. - Seek feedback, continuously learn, and take advantage of opportunities to improve knowledge, skill, and experience. Assure that behavior follows the J&J; credo and supports a positive work environment. **Qualifications**: **Qualifications**: - Previous experience in Payroll required, preferably for a large multi-state company as an analyst. Experience in a shared service center environment preferred. - Experience with payroll processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements. - Desirable a proficient understanding of payroll transactions related to global mobility, benefits administration, leave administration, equity compensation, and savings plans. Experience with managing overpayments and payslip compliance. Key Skills: - Significant analytical and problem solving skills required. Attention to detail a must. - A sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines. - Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity to compliance-related matters. - Ability to identify problems, and recommend a course of action. - Desirable demonstrate ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach - Ability to excel in a team based environment, demonstrating customer service and teamwork.
