We are a mission-driven immigration law office seeking a Remote Case Manager to support managing the team under the supervision of our attorneys from USCIS Humanitarian Department, specifically focusing on T Visas, U Visas, and VAWA applications. This is a full-time, fully remote role ideal for individuals with prior experience in legal support, strong administrative skills, and a desire to work on life-changing cases for survivors of trafficking and other forms of abuse and violence. Position Overview As a Remote Case Manager dedicated to T Visa and USCIS Humanitarian-based immigration cases, you’ll support our legal team by supervising the team creating strong workflows adhering to our company SOPs and ensuring the preparation of USCIS filings runs smoothly and effectively and communicating with clients and agencies, and ensuring timely case progress for vulnerable applicants. Core Responsibilities - Assist and supervise the assigned department in preparing and organizing T Visa, U Visa, VAWA, and related humanitarian applications. - Will have his /her own load of complex cases - Will ensure cases are moving along and smoothly following deadlines and excellent quality of work - Review and compile evidence, declarations, and cover letters for USCIS filings. - Monitor and update internal case trackers and deadlines for each client. - Track completion of tasks and assignments through case management software and internal tracking systems - Provide training to the Legal assistants and more sub-departments - Track completion and performance of legal assistants as well as boost productivity and develop results-driven positive mindset. - Coordinate with clients to gather supporting documents and verify case information. - Draft and Revise client declarations and help complete USCIS forms (e.g., I-918, I-914, I-360, I-485, I-192). - Communicate empathetically and clearly with clients, many of whom are survivors of trauma. - Coordinate with onboarding team to Maintain digital files and ensure each case is audit-ready. - Provide administrative and case prep support to attorneys and supervising paralegals. - Track USCIS receipt notices, RFEs, and decision updates; assist in timely responses. Requirements - 2–4 years of experience in immigration law (preferred: USCIS humanitarian cases). - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through. - Excellent English writing and communication skills. - Confidence using Google Workspace, Adobe PDF, and basic case management systems. - High level of empathy, discretion, and professionalism when working with sensitive stories. - Proactive, accountable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced remote team. - Adherence to company SOPs and be able to lead a team under these established parameters. Technical & Security Requirements - Reliable laptop/desktop with updated operational system and webcam. - Stable high-speed internet and consistent electricity. - Antivirus/malware protection installed. - Private, distraction-free home office setup. - Willingness to install work monitoring software (during work hours only) to ensure data protection and compliance.
