About the Role We are seeking an Electronic Technician to help maintain the electronic tools and equipment we use in our day-to-day operations. In this position, you may fix anything from radios to production machines, primarily responding to service calls from other employees. Key Responsibilities - Operational testing of moderately complex production components, subassemblies, and systems using data sheets, schematics, wiring diagrams, established test specifications, and standard test procedures. - Setting up and operating test stands consisting of multiples of standard test equipment, such as pulse generators, amplifiers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, counters, etc. - Working with engineering instructions and standard test procedures to operationally test developmental products as required. - Aligning and adjusting subassemblies and/or systems in accordance with test procedures and data sheets to comply with established specifications and acceptable performance. - Interpreting test data and checking results against specifications, test procedures, and data sheets to determine proper functioning and quality of product. - Troubleshooting, locating, and diagnosing malfunctions within the unit requiring application of technical knowledge, skill, and ingenuity. - Designating rework instructions where necessary and retesting work after rework. Stamping and otherwise approving test results. Recording test data and submitting test failure/acceptance reports and notifying supervisor of unusual conditions or undesirable trends. Requirements - A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a technical area: Electronic Engineering, Electronics, or vocational/technical education in related discipline. - Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
