PRGXprovides a unique combination of audit, analytics and advisoryservices that optimizes client financial performance. JOB DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Utilizes appropriate audit concepts andproprietary tools/reports to conduct audit by examining a client’saccounts payable financial data. 2. Identifies variances and/orerrors in the procurement and payment processes to recover revenue.3. Understands, manipulates and analyzes client’s electronic data(primarily in Excel or Access). 4. Reviews contracts, agreements,paperwork and electronic documents looking for possible missedopportunities in vendor funding. 5. Inspects and evaluates clientfinancial information including (but not limited to) buyers’ files,client standards, manifests, purchase orders, invoices, statements,DSD purchases and freight invoices in order to audit and analyzethe client’s business operations. 6. Finds, supports, and documentsaudit and claims operations. 7. Produces claims using appropriateaudit concepts for writing claims, updating claims managementsystem, and billing claims to client. 8. Provides vendors withclaim back-up information. May contact vendors for pre-approvals.9. Packages claims for vendor and/or client. 10. Conducts buyer,contract and document pulls as required. 11. Understands andfollows overall audit compliance by adhering to specific auditguidelines and meeting audit deadlines. 12. Provides insight andrecommendations for audit process improvements; may work with IT toimplement and test system enhancements. 13. Provides support foraudit team. 14. Contributes to the success of the organization byhelping others accomplish job results; learning new skills neededby the team; finding new ways to help the team. WORK EXPERIENCE ANDEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-yearcollege or university; or one to two years related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience. 2. Prefer 2+ years of related experience in an officeenvironment. 3. Computer proficiency in Excel and/or Access is amust. Prefer candidates with database knowledge (dbase or SQLenvironment). 4. Preference given to candidates with experience inretail or grocery procurement, and A/P processing.
