The Linux Infrastructure Leader is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux-based systems and infrastructure. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of Linux environments. Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership and Team Management • Lead the infrastructure team in planning, deploying, and managing Linux systems. • Manage and mentor junior infrastructure engineers. 2. System Design and Implementation • Design scalable and secure Linux infrastructure solutions. • Implement infrastructure solutions to meet organizational needs. 3. System Monitoring and Maintenance • Monitor system performance to ensure high availability and reliability. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. 4. Policy Development and Enforcement • Develop and enforce policies for system security and data protection. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. 5. Collaboration and Integration • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Linux systems with other technologies. • Facilitate cross-functional teamwork to achieve IT goals. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. • Continuously improve the infrastructure through innovation and best practices. Required Skills • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux system administration. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Advanced training in Linux system administration and infrastructure management. • English Level B1 or higher • In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu). • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl). • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). • Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSH). • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM).
