- Location: Hybrid – Medellín (2 days in office) - Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Salary: $900 up to $1,000 USD a month - Contract Type: Contractor (Prestación de servicios) - Language Requirement: B2+ English level or higher (Fluent) - Experience: 1 + years in purchasing, procurement, or sales quoting. - English CV required We are looking for a Purchasing & Quotation Specialist to support our fast-growing operations by managing supplier relationships and coordinating accurate and timely quotations for customer inquiries. This role plays a crucial part in both the pre-sale quoting process and the post-sale procurement and vendor management. You will serve as a key point of contact between our internal sales team and external suppliers, ensuring pricing, availability, and delivery timelines are aligned and competitive. Ideal candidates will bring a strong sense of ownership, negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Key Responsibilities - Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal pricing and availability. - Prepare accurate and timely product quotations for the sales team based on customer specifications. - Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. - Track deliveries, resolve supplier issues, and ensure deadlines are met. - Maintain updated records of vendor contacts, pricing, and product availability. - Collaborate closely with the sales, finance, and logistics teams to ensure end-to-end fulfillment. - Analyze historical data and market trends to support cost-saving initiatives. - Identify alternative sourcing options when necessary to meet urgent or budget-sensitive needs. - Communicate with both U.S. and international vendors, leveraging your bilingual (English/Spanish) skills. What We're Looking For - 1 + years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or quoting. - Advanced English proficiency (B2+ minimum). - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and purchasing documentation. - High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure. - Problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach. - Previous experience working with U.S.-based companies is a plus. - Must be based in Medellín or able to commute 2 days a week to the office.
