We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support our growing property management operations. This role focuses on lease processing, rent collection, tenant communication, and working with subsidized housing programs. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the residential leasing cycle. Key Responsibilities: - Manage new leases, lease renewals, and move-outs in Rent Manager. - Make rent collection calls, send reminders, apply late fees, and manage tenant ledgers. - Handle communications and follow-ups with CHA, Section 8, and other subsidy tenants. - Coordinate with housing authorities on annual recertifications, rent portions, and documentation. - Support and document the eviction process, including notices and communication with legal teams. - Maintain organized and up-to-date records of tenant interactions, lease documents, and payment histories. - Collaborate remotely with property managers, maintenance teams, and office staff. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in leasing, rent collection, or tenant relations in residential property management. - Advanced proficiency in Rent Manager—must be confident in entering leases, posting payments, managing ledgers, and generating reports. - Familiarity with CHA, Section 8, and other housing assistance programs. - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with professional phone etiquette. - Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, lease compliance, and eviction protocols. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. - High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Bonus Requirements: - Experience working with multi-state portfolios (especially in Illinois, Ohio, or Texas). - Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. - Prior work experience with property management teams is an advantage.
