Title and Summary Senior Specialist, Account Management (Sales Financial Sector Background) - Overview This Sr. Specialist role is a regional position within the Latin America and Caribbean division. As part of the Fintech, Digital Partnerships, and Commerce team, you will identify new opportunities within a portfolio of key regional accounts in the retail and commerce segment. Your responsibilities include onboarding new customers, defining and executing account strategies, and identifying cross-sell and 1:many opportunities to diversify revenue and expand digital payments. As a key member of the LAC Business Development team, you will prepare account plans, support strategy development, structure proposals, and manage activities related to launching new products, joint reselling, marketing initiatives, or services with customers. Other Responsibilities Manage a set of strategic regional and global accounts, including retailers, quick service restaurants, airlines, and other commerce platforms. Support onboarding, negotiate commercial agreements, and oversee the growth of customer portfolios while managing regional accounts P&L. Drive revenue growth through account expansion and new account development. Represent Mastercard, drive thought leadership, and support customer plans. Develop reseller and 1:many approaches to scale product and solution distribution. Develop acceptance programs in partnership with the acquirer center of excellence and stakeholders to increase digital payment acceptance. All About You Experience in merchant acceptance, acquirer, PSP, or orchestrator space. Advanced account management skills and a proactive, hunter spirit. Deep knowledge of the innovation ecosystem in LAC and current trends. Customer-centric mindset. Ability to identify and propose complementary products or services. Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly. Effective at communicating vision and roadmap to stakeholders. Problem-solving orientation.
