Job Description Be part of our client’s team as a Payroll Analyst and take the lead in configuring and implementing payroll systems for new clients. You’ll ensure a seamless transition into the PEO model while making payroll accuracy your mission. Career Snapshot Employment Type: Indefinite Term Contract Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Colombian Time Work Setup: Work from Home What You’ll Do - Act as the payroll subject matter expert during client transitions into the PEO service model - Consult on payroll best practices by assessing current systems, mapping to the PEO co-employment structure, and proposing solutions to close gaps - Analyze new clients’ payroll processes, identify needs, and determine optimal setup within G&A; Partners’ payroll and related systems - Implement clients onto G&A;’s payroll platform, including company-level data setup, employee-level detail setup, custom reports, export files, and client security roles - Participate in client conversion meetings and lead payroll setup discussions - Ensure clear understanding of the co-employment relationship and its impact on payroll processes - Analyze complex payroll and financial accounting requirements to inform configuration decisions - Gather client requirements and perform configuration, implementation, and training on payroll and G&A;’s HRIS system - Process initial payroll runs accurately for new clients prior to handoff to the ongoing Payroll Specialist - Research and resolve payroll implementation issues quickly to ensure client satisfaction - Coordinate with internal teams during onboarding to maintain effective communication - Document client processes and requirements according to internal guidelines before transitioning to the ongoing Payroll Specialist Requirements Qualifications Needed - English level: C1 - 3+ years of experience processing high-volume payroll - 3+ years of experience configuring payroll systems or supporting implementations (ideally in a PEO or client-service setting) - Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, validations, data formatting) - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Nice-to-Have: - Experience with PrismHR or other HRIS/payroll platforms - Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification - Understanding of U.S. payroll tax regulations - Background in project management or client onboarding Benefits What You’ll Get – Real Benefits for Real Growth - 5 days work week - Weekends off - Work from home arrangement - 20 vacation days in total - Prepaid medicine - Fully-customized Emapta laptop and peripherals - Direct exposure to our clients - Career growth opportunities - Diverse and supportive work environment - Prime Office Locations - Bogotá and Medellin - Unlimited upskilling through Emapta Academy courses (Want to know more?
