Hiring Department Executive Communication & Marketing Job Description Digital Strategist This position will be responsible for implementing various messages, creating written and visual content for digital platforms, and managing the execution of email campaigns. Job Responsibilities Executing email campaign tactics for Student Affairs, including query lists, segmenting audiences, building emails, and conditional logic. Final checks of schedule, parameters, and content for each. Developing, implementing, and managing the organization's social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn) to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and community building. Analyzing social media performance metrics, providing regular reports, and identifying opportunities for optimization. Developing procedures and guidelines for campaign execution in CRM and other email systems (Slate, Dot Digital, Mailchimp, iModules). Setting up templates, content blocks, and individual emails. Monitoring campaign performance, discussing changes with client managers, and making adjustments. Crafting concise, engaging messages for students and families, writing in AP Style. Creating engaging content for social media, including filming, editing videos, and writing captions. Researching new email approaches and reviewing past campaign performance for improvements, understanding CAN-SPAM laws. Collaborating with lead strategists and digital communication managers on scheduling and executing email communications, including drafting, reviewing, and adjusting content. Recommending email frequency, quantity, and cadence to support campaign goals. Responsibilities (Outputs) Impact #1: Executing campaign tactics, scheduling emails, and keeping stakeholders updated. Shift 29 hours per week, flexible; Mon-Fri 8-5PM Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
