Our industry-leading solutions are transforming energy companies across the entire value chain, helping visionary leaders evolve their organizations into modern energy companies. **Overview** **Responsibilities** **D**ata Visualization and Reporting**: - Design and maintain AWS QuickSight dashboards to provide real-time insights into cloud spending, usage trends, and optimization opportunities across platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI, GCP). - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and Power BI Report Builder reports for multi-cloud cost analytics. - Integrate data from AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and third-party tools into consolidated views. - Deliver self-service reporting solutions to stakeholders for cost transparency and trend tracking. - Visualize compliance and governance metrics related to tagging, cost allocation, and cloud financial policies. **Cloud Financial Management**: - Develop and implement financial governance frameworks, cost management policies, and standard procedures for cloud usage. - Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to create accurate cloud budgets and forecasts, providing insights on variances and deviations. **Cost Optimization**: - Identify and execute strategies to optimize cloud costs, including rightsizing, reserved instances (RI’s & SP’s), unused resource clean-up, and optimizing storage/data transfer. - Conduct deep-dive analysis of cloud usage and cost to uncover savings opportunities and anomalies. - Provide actionable cost-saving insights and recommendations to business and engineering teams. **Cloud Cost Monitoring and Reporting**: - Set up and manage cloud cost monitoring tools and generate regular reports for internal and leadership stakeholders. - Conduct continuous cloud cost trend analysis and communicate key insights to cross-functional teams. **Stakeholder Collaboration**: - Act as a liaison between FinOps, cloud engineering, and finance teams to ensure cost accuracy and financial accountability. - Collaborate with R&D; and business stakeholders to align cloud usage with cost objectives. **Tool Implementation and Management**: - Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and FinOps platforms. - Work with tools like Athena, CloudFormation, Azure FinOps Toolkit, and VMware dashboards. **Cloud Cost Analysis & Governance**: - Analyze usage patterns, cost trends, and allocation methods across departments and projects. - Develop visual and analytical tools to support tagging, budget compliance, and resource governance. - Manage programs related to cloud onboarding, tagging, and compliance enforcement. - ** And other duties as assigned.** **Requirements**: - Proficiency in public cloud platforms - AWS and Azure; familiarity with GCP, OCI, and private cloud (VMware, Datacenters). - Strong understanding of cloud economics, pricing models, and cloud cost drivers in a SaaS-based architecture. - Advanced experience with AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and cloud billing systems. - Experience in Cloud FinOps / Cloud Spend Optimization strategies and methodologies. - Familiarity with cloud management platforms, data ingestion pipelines, and cost allocation strategies. - Advanced/Expert skills in Microsoft Excel for cost modeling and analysis. - Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for cloud environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large data volumes across multiple dimensions. - Proven ability to create and present cloud finance information to executives and technical teams. - Ability to identify cost anomalies, investigate root causes, and mitigate unnecessary spend. - Flexibility to work in a global environment and adapt to varying time zones. - Ability to work under tight deadlines, handle stress, and adapt quickly to new tools and strategies. - Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent in English, both written and verbal **Preferred Skills (not mandatory)** - AWS Certified Cloud
