Location: Remote | Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive salary + performance-based incentives Position Overview We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and proactive Team Lead to supervise and support our SEO/SEM department within a fast-growing digital marketing agency. This leadership role requires a strong mix of team management, technical SEO/SEM expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement and performance marketing. As the SEO/SEM Team Lead , you will be responsible for overseeing team operations, driving quality execution, mentoring team members, and aligning digital strategy with business goals. You’ll also play a critical role in refining processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting other digital marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Operations Oversee the daily performance and development of the SEO/SEM team. Delegate, organize, and track tasks using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com). Support and guide team members with problem-solving, task execution, and personal development. Facilitate cross-department collaboration, ensuring clear communication with leadership and other teams. Participate in management meetings and contribute to agency-wide strategy and planning. Drive process improvements, quality control, and ensure adherence to guidelines and workflows. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with client expectations and agency standards. Identify performance gaps and proactively implement improvements. Promote a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability. Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to support business and client goals. Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO audits. Collaborate with creative and content teams to guide content creation that supports SEO goals. Monitor traffic, rankings, and site performance, adjusting strategies based on algorithm updates and analytics. Stay current on SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and best practices. Digital Advertising (SEM & PPC) Lead and manage Google Ads campaigns with a focus on lead generation, PMAX campaigns, and A/B testing. Conduct keyword research, build ad groups, and optimize ads for performance. Monitor and analyze campaign data, report insights, and adjust strategies as needed. Leverage advanced targeting and retargeting techniques. Data Analysis & Reporting Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the performance of SEO/SEM initiatives. Provide actionable insights based on performance data to stakeholders. Use a data-driven approach to improve ROI and inform future strategy. RequirementsExperience & Skills 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within a digital marketing or agency environment. Proven expertise in SEO strategy, technical optimization, and SEM campaign execution. Strong understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Tag Manager. Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc. Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (C1–C2 level). Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
