Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Solution Engineer. The Solution Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients, providing sales and presales support, and overseeing integration processes. The Solution Engineer will work closely with the project manager and desinger to deliver tailored solutions that align with client objectives. Qualifications - Proven experience with SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) modules, including configuration, implementation, and support. The candidate should have a solid understanding of financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, and cost center accounting, as well as the ability to analyze and resolve issues within the SAP FICO environment. - Broad technical/IT knowledge and experienced in computer programming using programming languages such as Java and Visual Basic. - Good understanding of how ERP platforms and databases are configured and technically set up. Good understanding about operation systems. - In SAP context: Good knowledge of the SAP technology stacks, technical interfaces and their operation. - In Oracle context: Good knowledge of the Oracle technology stacks, technical interfaces and their operation. - Good knowledge in automation and optimization. Ability to implement the automated processes as described in the respective design documents. - Ability to break down complex processes in ERP platforms into individual steps and understand the algorithms that are required to complete the appropriate process end to end. - Knowing what it takes to implement software solutions such as ERP or similar. - Understanding software build methodologies like Agile/Scrum. - Understanding the methodology of automating business processes and the technical requirements of such a transformation. - Experience with MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. - Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and to manage own - Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines. - Fluency in English, preferably with further language skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Ability to work from 8am-5pm CST. - You must possess a visa to travel to the USA already.
