**Position name** **Catering Sales Manager** **Company** Catarina Chang **Job purpose** A Boston businesswoman with several businesses is looking for a Catering Sales Manager, who would be responsible for soliciting, securing responding to customer inquiries regarding the purchase of food and beverage. Specifically, this person would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards; **JOB FUNCTIONS** Person in charge of the Catering sales Acting as the liaison between client and staff to accurately communicate all pertinent information and details correlating to each event Place the orders, once you understand the client’s needs. Clients’ credit card management (Invoices and payments receipts) Receiving all event inquiries and conducting all correspondence with prospective and confirmed clients Developing new business relationships and opportunities to increase private events and drive sales Overseeing and managing all private events Ensure timely follow-up and all outreach with clients **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** **Education** College Diploma Sales and Management or an administrative degree **Training or Expertise** Fluent and professional English level Desired Food and Beverage experience/ knowledge **Experience** 3 or more years of Sales and Management Experience Food & Beverage is a plus Minimum 2+ years as an Event Manager, Catering Manager, Event Supervisor, Catering Sales Manager, or comparable hospitality management role in an upscale, preferably chef-driven concept **REQUIRED SKILLS** High written and oral English Commitment to providing excellent service to customers/clients and support to staff members Extremely organized and punctual Minimum 2+ years as an Event Manager, Catering Manager, Event Supervisor, Catering Sales Manager, or comparable hospitality management role in an upscale, preferably chef-driven concept Positive attitude. Must be highly flexible, team-player Excellent communication skills Previous event sales required Ability to multi-task, respond quickly to client needs/changes, manage time to accommodate both high - and lower-priority assignments Attention to detail and accuracy **WAGE COMPENSATION** **Full-time job Monday - Friday 9 am-5 pm Eastern time** **Compensation: $2.000.000 COP + (2% commission of monthly orders)** **The employee must cover Internet and computer** **Salary**: $2,000,000 - $2,100,000 per month
