Learn more about what DSO will mean for you in your new role here YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead CH strategic and cross divisional projects for Distribution & Logistics projects and initiatives in LATAM. - Single CH SCM representative and key point of contact for the regional W&D; network in LATAM on all deliverables for cost and service - Fully empowered to engage in all decisions needed to deliver on targets, customer needs and expectations. - Enabling and supporting W&D; LATAM network to meet all supply efficiencies and delight the respective customers thanks to superior service, lead-times, lanes and joint value creation. Accountability for key PS W&D; deliverables. Close collaboration with Sites and SCs. IOF-EOF-Sustainability-CFR - Inventories as Key metrics - Key Contributor to the Distribution & Logistics Capability Pool in Latam, enabling the community to deliver value for Customers and Commercial Operations - SPOC and key counterpart for Procurement W&D; Organization to support all the transformation, network and bidding projects for Distribution & Logistics - Operational Excellence Programs: Establish and enforce process excellence standards across all Distribution & Logistics network in LATAM. Lead continuous improvement programs and performance improvement initiatives that drive consistent operational metrics, efficiency and service Key outcomes of this role: - COST: Focus on efficiency programs for optimal W&D; NPC, IOF and EOF in LATAM CH/PH Logistics network - OPERATIONAL EFFICIENY: Lead and roll out the full transformation programs and projects in the region to deliver the E2E efficiency/service of the Distribution & Logistics network in Latam. Strong operation and sustainable results. - CUSTOMER SERVICE/DELIGHT: (i) Through logistical network ensure strong product availability for markets based on leading customer service KPI, (ii) new product launches on time so that customer teams can meet 98% CFR and delight the customer. (iii) established joined business plans with customers to be the preferred supplier * Ensure VOICE OF CUSTOMERS (thanks to strong customer engagement) is translated back into W&D; work teams to master their CASH-COST-SERVICE triangle via (i) correct network ii) clear join business building plans with logistical partners and (iii) full supply transparency to ensure business continuity - SUSTAINABILITY: Lead the Sustainability program for SCM LATAM - RESILIENCE: Ensure network business continuity through the right network and 3PL/4PL partners to deliver to internal and external customers - INNOVATION: Enable and engage with key stakeholders from the sites and global teams to deliver innovative solutions for the W&D; network in LATAM - CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT: Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to enhance distribution and logistics performance. WHO YOU ARE - Supply Chain Operations: Advanced knowledge of supply chain operations and key expertise in warehousing and transportation FMCG industry with focus on optimizing the balance between cost and customer service. - Supply Network Optimization: Expertise in steering and optimizing a complex supply network within a region. - Deep understanding of distribution network operations and transportation in a retail or consumer goods context, including knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory management, and store replenishment processes - Integrated Making: Advance understanding of operations management of internal sites and 3rd party manufacturers. - Supply Chain Operations: Good knowledge of supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and strategic material management, with a focus on optimizing the balance between inventory, customer service, and supply chain costs. - Supply Chain Management: Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including forecasting, demand planning, S&OP; (Sales and Operations Planning), production planning/scheduling, material management and logistics - Business Acumen: A deep understanding of the local market's business dynamics, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, to effectively align supply chain strategies with business objectives. Adaptable and versatile to learn about new markets and businesses to provide value and service needed for them. - Customer Relationship Management: Proficiency in managing and building strong relationships with external customers, understanding their needs, preferences, and market demands to align supply chain strategies with customer expectation. Delivering customer-centric solutions. - Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and manage relationships with stakeholders at various levels, both internally (within the local business and regional management team) and externally. - Problem-solving and Decision-making: Quick and effective problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
