Development HotelCoordinator (Architects or Engineers) Destination Group is a globalreal estate development company with interests in hospitalityprojects in Asia, Central America, and South America. The companyis involved in real estate projects as an investor/developer aswell as a real estate advisor/development manager to third partyclients. Products include 4 and 5 star resorts, restaurants, andsocial accommodation hospitality projects. Primary Function ADevelopment Coordinator at Destination is responsible for assistingthe VP of Development with overall project execution on assignedprojects. The Development Coordinator will assist in ensuringcompliance with the project business plan and all aspects of thedevelopment process, as well as managing the execution of certaintasks as determined by the project’s VP of Development. Projectexecution will include due diligence, programming, design,entitlements, construction, completion and opening, warranty andcloseout. Duties & Responsibilities - Assist in the day‐to‐daymanagement of development projects including the oversight ofproject construction teams and consultants. - Assist withprocurement of easements, entitlements, off‐site agreements andpermits. - Assist with the selection, contracting and oversight ofthe project team such as architects. - Provide financial analysisfor projects undertaken by the company. - Assist with management ofdesign and construction efforts. - Assist with documenting periodicproject operational performance and positioning reviews, includingbudget, schedule, business plan compliance, market analysis,product review, and latest industry trends. Qualifications,Knowledge and Skills Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in a fieldrelated to real estate development (i.e., engineering,architecture, construction, finance, economics). - Up to 4 years ofrelevant experience. Construction experience is preferred. - Strongcomputer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project. -Must be attentive to detail, proactive, results oriented anddependable. - Must be able to exercise good judgment, takeinitiative, function independently and work in close cooperationwith others. - Must have good interpersonal, organizational,administrative, and communication skills. - Must be able tocoordinate and prioritize a variety of tasks in a fast‐pacedenvironment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Engineering
