Job Description: Sourcing, Shipping, and Logistics Expert This role is responsible for managing the importation of goods from Asia, Mexico, and the USA to Colombia and Peru. - The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics processes and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination (73%): - Oversee import operations, including planning shipments and confirming container loads. - Daily communication with booking agents and global transportation providers. - Manage import documentation through systems like SAP and SONDA. - Coordinate customs clearance, manage in-transit issues, land transport, and regulatory compliance. - Ensure on-time delivery to warehouses and maintain import records. Reporting & Financial Oversight (15%): - Generate monthly transit and freight cost reports. - Manage tax payments to relevant authorities. - Review and process supplier invoices, coordinating with finance teams. Document and Process Updates (12%): - Analyze and update customs documents and mandates as necessary. - Maintain communication with internal clients and customs agents. - Forecast and ETA planning to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in import and export logistics processes. - International agreements course completion is preferred. - Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment. - Knowledge of SAP for import work.
