Key responsibilities include designing automated equipment and solutions, defining areas where automation could improve production and efficiency, and providing technical support in relation to automated systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with high speed assembly, manufacturing or food industry, and automation. They will also have expertise in AB and Siemens Programs, as well as knowledge of metal detectors, Robot Fanuc, AGV, Servomotors and VDF. A successful candidate will be highly collaborative, accountable and autonomous, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment and manage multiple projects/priorities to meet specific goals & deadlines. They will have strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively, present numerical data effectively, and read and interpret written information. In addition, they will have problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, and think creatively and strategically. The Automation Engineer will hold a Bachelor's Degree In automation, Mechatronic or Robotics and have certification in PLC Programming. English proficiency is required, with native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish being preferred. This is a full-time position, requiring a mid-senior level professional with experience in engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
