Job Title: Full Stack PYTHON Developer (with some Golang exposure) Requirement: Good written and verbal ENGLISH communication skills This project supports a US-based company/project Employment Type: Contract Work, 40 hours weekly About the Role: We are seeking a Full Stack Python Developer with strong backend and API development skills, experience with scalable cloud environments like AWS, and familiarity with big data tools such as Spark. Knowledge of Golang (Go) is highly desirable for collaboration on microservices and real-time processing tools. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of software and data engineering within a fast-paced SaaS/product environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and frameworks like Django or FastAPI. - Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices. - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs into user-facing products. - Work with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, Athena) for deployment and management of cloud-based applications. - Handle large-scale data processing pipelines with Apache Spark and other big data tools. - Contribute to architectural decisions and influence the tech stack evolution. - Write clean, testable, and efficient code; participate in code reviews. - Use Golang on select microservices or components as appropriate. - Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers. Requirements: - 3–7 years of professional software development experience. - Expertise in Python , with production experience in Django, Flask, or FastAPI. - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure. - Familiarity or working knowledge of Golang is a significant plus. - Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs. - Exposure to Apache Spark or similar data processing technologies. - Understanding of SaaS architectures, CI/CD practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Nice to Have: - Experience with data engineering pipelines and tools. - Knowledge of DevOps workflows and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform). - Frontend experience with React or similar (bonus, not required). - Knowledge of event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
