A Senior AWS DevOps Engineer at Oceans can expect to work on multiple projects, work with a cross-functional team, and are transparent about time and tasks to help clients understand the progress of their projects. **This position is available only for people in LATAM** **Summary** **Responsibilities**: - Migration to GitHub. - Work through the backlog of DevOps / CloudOps tickets. **Job Requirements** - Great English proficiency (B2+ written and spoken). - 8+ years of working experience with Cloud/Application Development/Platform engineering. - Impeccable punctuality; being on time for meetings is crucial. - Familiarity with Java and Python and related build tools (while these are not developer roles, familiarity with the tool chain is needed) - Working experience with AWS and related services such as: - API Gateway, CloudFront, Elasticsearch, Fargate, Load Balancers, OpenSearch, S3, RDS, R53, etc. - Containerized workflows with Docker, ECS and ECR - Basic understanding of AWS networking including VPCs, Subnets, Firewall, TLS, etc. - Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools for scripting and automation. - Experience setting up build and deployment pipelines and related developer workflows in tools like: Jenkins, GitHub, CodeBuild/CodeDeploy **Nice to have** - Knowledge of security best practices. - Automation-first mindset. **Position Type and Expected Hours of Work** This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times.
