Position Summary: This professional will be responsible for optimizing hotel operational processes through data analysis and business intelligence, with a primary focus on providing direct support to the Vice President of Operations. The role combines information analysis for strategic decision-making with administrative coordination and support to ensure the smooth execution of operations and critical projects.
Reporting Line and Internal Relationships: ● Reports to: ○ Vice President of Operations. ● Collaborates with: ○ Marketing, experience, finance, human resources, and technology teams. ○ Operational areas such as front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage.




Key Responsibilities: ● Support to the Vice President of Operations: ○ Provide direct administrative and operational support to the Vice President, including agenda management, meeting coordination, and follow-up on commitments. ○ Prepare documentation, presentations, and special reports for strategic meetings. ○ Facilitate communication between the Vice President and various operational departments, ensuring the effective implementation of initiatives and projects.



● Data Analysis and Reporting: ○ Collect, process, and analyze hotel operational data (occupancy, revenue, costs, service indicators, etc.). ○ Develop dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to support strategic decision-making.

● Operations Optimization: ○ Identify opportunities for improvement in operational processes through data analysis and propose corrective actions. ○ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in implementing strategies aimed at efficiency and continuous improvement.

● Strategic Project Management: ○ Coordinate and track operational improvement projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines and established objectives. ○ Collaborate with different departments to implement initiatives that maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

● Implementation of Business Intelligence Solutions: ○ Assess and implement new technological tools and BI systems to enhance data visualization and analysis. ○ Train team members in the use of these tools and the correct interpretation of information.

Requirements and Competencies: ● Education and Experience: ○ Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields. ○ Proven experience in hotel operations, data analysis, and/or executive assistant roles in dynamic environments.

● Technical Knowledge: ○ Advanced proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.) and data analysis. ○ Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. ○ Familiarity with hotel management systems (PMS, CRS, etc.) and booking platforms.


● Personal Skills and Competencies: ○ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. ○ Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. ○ Excellent organizational and time-management skills, essential for coordinating executive-level agendas and meetings. ○ Proactiveness, critical thinking, and results-oriented mindset. ○ Ability to work in teams and under pressure in dynamic environments.
