Task: As a Customer Support Engineer, you will have the opportunity to help resolve Liferay product issues for hundreds of companies across various fields, including entertainment, finance, government, and more. Responsibilities: Manage multiple reported issues among various customers simultaneously. Investigate real-life scenarios within Liferay’s products. Recognize and gather crucial information to lead to solutions. Configure different Java web-based environments daily to test and reproduce customer issues. Maintain a professional and high-quality relationship with customers through our internal ticketing system. Communicate status updates and coordinate with customers from start to finish. Collaborate as a team to deliver optimal solutions through brainstorming and knowledge sharing. Create and maintain internal and public-facing documentation. Expectation: Customer-focused engineer with a Computer Science background. Ability to read and understand Java code (minimum 2 years). Experience with application servers (mainly Tomcat) and databases (mainly MySQL, Oracle). Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking). Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Motivation for continuous learning, adaptability, and flexibility. Proven multitasking ability with attention to detail.
