To support this mission, Syngenta's Production & Supply is seeking a Supply Quality & Optimization Manager in Bogotá, Colombia or Santiago de Chile. This role will support the implementation of Quality Global and Regional strategies across the Andean Commercial Unit (Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Chile), ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Syngenta's Code of Practices. You will assess customer needs, communicate them effectively to the Supply Leadership Team, and reinforce product integrity according to global standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide quality assurance to stakeholders while managing quality risks and systems within our Supply operations. Responsibilities: Customer Complaints process management - as a stakeholder in this process, evaluate and perform RCA to determine whether the complaint is admissible or not in cases related to Quality. Support the areas that generate these complaints (logistics, service, etc.) to advise and guide them on how to prevent and mitigate these complaints. Lead the Major Customer Complaints and Non Conformities investigation of the supply quality scope, with a fluent updated and communication to the Supply & Commercial area. Communication / Training (with Supply & Commercial teams). Close contact with Customers & Commercial team to do the devolution of RCA investigations. Collaborate on the validation, development and update of documentation in where Quality requirements should be included Ensure to development of the Quality procedures on CU Andean. Support and validate relabelling requirements and shelf-life extensions. Develop the Quality requirements for Logistic operations (Warehouses and transport) and conduct Audit / Q-Assessments. Request to Global Product Chemistry the issue of statement to cover special certification for our customers (Heavy metal and allergen free certifications; then generate it in local languages) Approval of Exceptional Release of import products, 3rd party products and Biologicals Evaluate non value activities for all supply processes and establish action plan with specific areas/functions to ensure the best and fluent processes. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree (Chemical Engineering, Professional Chemist or Pharmacist or similar). Detailed operational knowledge of the Syngenta Management System Project and change management skills and experience Quality Management System At least 5 - 6 years of experience in Quality and customer operations positions. Advanced English SAP knowledge Preferably with experience in multinational companies in the Chemical/Pharmaceutical industry or similar.
