You will play a critical role in the financial health of the organization and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This is an On-site position at our Bogotá Office . Responsibilities Month-end Close: Integral part of Monthly Close, including processing monthly entries and review of Accounting clerk’s entries. Analysis & review of certain General Ledger accounts Balance Sheet support schedules for specific G/L accounts. Cash & Banking Daily review of bank transactions and provide guidance to the accounting clerk to record entries. Assist in bank transfers Preparation of ACH & Wire disbursements for secondary approval by management Monthly Bank Reconciliations Accounts Payable: Oversee the accounts payable Supervise cash flow and ensure timely payments to vendors Assist management with weekly cash flow forecast information Other: Audit Support during annual audit Employee Expense Reporting - processing and assist in the development of improvements to the process Corporate Credit Cards - review monthly activity and oversee upload of data Conduct ad-hoc general ledger account activity review for management. Qualifications Bilingual (B2) Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in financial transactions and analysis. Knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles. Proficiency in using accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets Experience with FinancialForce (Certinia) accounting software and Salesforce CRM is preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
