ROLE SUMMARY The Medical Manager support and execute scientific strategy of a product/ portfolio, provide information and advice on medical and scientific issues to internal and external customers. Cultivates scientific based relationships, by providing scientific information of Pfizer´s key molecules or disease area among targeted physicians and other HCPs. Strengthens and creates professional bonds with Medical Associations, Academia, and Health Organizations within their areas of expertise. RESPONSABILITIES – Core components Will have a constant interaction cross functional with BU members bringing medical insights that may impact the medical community awareness about Pfizer medicine´s safety and efficacy or disease area, working to ensure correct use of Pfizer´s Medicines. Helps drive the appropriate clinical adoption and use of products in their category or portfolio by: Supporting the registration & clinical strategies of compounds prior to market authorization. Providing internal & external stakeholders necessary information to support safe & effective administration in appropriate patient population(s). Develops medical strategies that support product lifecycle management, e.g., Phase 4 trial Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for the development of treatment algorithms and guidelines. Actively involved in the development and review of pre-launch and launch medical/ scientific activities of assigned products, Facilitate the dissemination of clinical research data. Collaborates in the preparation of study reports and manuscripts Provides scientific analysis of candidate products for licensing and/or further clinical development REQUIRED SKILL SET Capabilities & Qualifications Medical degree, preferable with specialty in clinical areas and/or research, epidemiology At least 3 years of experience in medical/scientific activities including research, clinical development, epidemiological surveillance, academia, or a health care institution.
