That’s where you come in. **What you will do**: - Focus heavily on remote managed services for data centers located in manufacturing facilities. Possess technical expertise for compute environments and will be instrumental in bridging the industrial and information technology paradigms. - Support modifying and maintaining Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory and Directory Services, and performance monitoring techniques on server software and hardware. - Support a wide range of VMware products such as vCenter, ESXi versions 6.x+, HorizonView, vSAN and must have experience managing these environments in a production environment. Investigate and verify reported product problems in software, firmware, hardware and documentation. Document the problem, work with appropriate group to resolve the problem, and follow up with the Rockwell Automation representative or customer when the problem is solved. **Basic qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree **Preferred qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, computer programming, or similar - A minimum of 2 years experience as a VMware engineer - Proficiency in VMware associated programs and coding languages, such as Windows Server, MS IIS, SAN/vSAN architectures - Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware solutions and related technologies. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - This position is part of a job family.
