Job Title: Specialist, Workplace Health and Safety This role involves developing safety operations related to fire, emergency, safety, and environmental programs. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and policies is crucial. Main Responsibilities: 1. Analyze data for quality, validity, and significance. 2. Communicate safety procedures to the organization or public. 3. Provide technical guidance on safety issues. 4. Organize workshops and training sessions on environmental management and safety. 5. Prepare charts and presentations to convey environmental information. 6. Research pollution sources and assess their environmental impact. Desired Skills: 1. Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer service. 2. At least 2 years of experience in occupational health, preferably in companies with 400+ employees or BPOs. 3. Proven experience with occupational health processes, risk management, and safety system implementation. 4. Bachelor's degree or higher required. 5. Membership in a professional association (e.g., Colegio profesional). 6. Intermediate to advanced English skills. 7. Ability to apply scientific methods to problem-solving. 8. Expertise in safety system analysis. 9. Effective problem-solving and time management skills. 10. Knowledge of chemical properties and compositions.
