Key tasks for this role are to ensure integrity of finance statements, assure correctness of reported numbers in BRAVO on timely basis and be the main contact person to the local team. This is a key liaison role between the Global Services (GS) teams and local affiliates. **You will be responsible for**: - Responsible for coordinating and facilitating pre-close meetings, quarterly balance sheet reviews, and financial statement reviews for Finance Director (FD) - Budget vs Actuals creation, alignment and coordination for commentary and approval - Accountable for trial balance and responsible for approving 'actuals' submissions - Analyse financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of numbers. - Face of GS and Accounting Lead for actuals (US GAAP); be the connection between Business Unit Finance (BUF) and Global Services Finance Process teams - Member of local FD’s leadership team (LT); serve as one of the GS points of connection at BUF LT meetings - Champion an environment of collaboration, innovation and sharing ideas - Influence and work closely with business unit finance (BUF) and Account to Report (A2R) on joint goals and objectives - Lead/participate in GS process improvement and other global/local projects - Provide support to resolve complex/aged A2R issues (US GAAP) **Qualifications** Qualifications and requirements**: Preferred qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent or/and with a minimum of 5 years post qualified financial experience - MBA, CMA, CPA or equivalent certification is preferred **languages**: - Fluent English **Experience and skills required for the role**: - 5 or more years job experience in different Finance Functions - USS GAAP Solid Knowledge - Prior managerial / supervisory experience is preferred - Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills required - Continuous improvement and service centric mindset - Demonstrates a clear bias for action on priorities.
