The role of FLT driver is a critical part of our team here at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 13:45 – 22:15pm Key Responsibilities: - Carry out the day-to-day manual handling that is required - To safely operate forklift or other hand trucks - Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment - Identify safety hazards in the workplace - Moving modules with live birds off the HGV lorries Requirements: - Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative - MUST have a forklift license - Enjoy working to targets in a fast-paced environment - Possess high standards of work - Have a basic level of both written and verbal English - Enjoy working as part of a team - Ideally have experience of working within the food production industry Benefits: - Rate of Pay - £ 15.71 per hour (Rate inclusive of attendance bonus) - Auto enrolment into our company pension scheme - Access to our 'Feed your Wellbeing' hub, offering a range of retail, restaurant and entertainment discounts and wellbeing support - Cycle to work scheme - Discounted local gym membership - Death in service insurance - Free Parking - Canteen facilities
