**JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT - EPIROC COLOMBIA** **MISSION** An incumbent, who will fill this role, will report directly to Regional Accountant, and has to perform an effective bookkeeping and accounting work. Ensure proper compliance with the Accounting, Tax, Control, and group guidelines obligations. Ensure that the policies and procedures of the area and the company are complied with. Ensure that the processes of the area are efficient and generate value. **Specific tasks and responsibilities, but are not limited to**: - Monthly statutory reporting - Ensure that all accounting documents and transactions are complying with local law and tax regulations. - Keep up to date with changes in the accounting and tax regulation. - Accounting records and review of monthly accounts related to payroll (Employee insurance discounts, Payroll, Provisions, etc.) - Elaboration of the integrations of the accounting accounts at the end of each month, Balance Sheet Review. - Recording of accounting adjustments at the end of each month (Portfolio Reclassifications, IC Accounts Payable, Customer Advances) - Review and update of financial information in accordance with Group policies FAM accounting maintenance for financial information systems and reports (BPCS, ECS, SAP BW, Excel) - Control and supervision of monthly accounting closing activities. - Ensure the correct and timely preparation and submission of financial reports according to the calendar published in FAM. - Analyze, review and propose improvements to procedures in the Accounting and Reporting area. Review and supervision of payments to: Suppliers, payroll, taxes. Develop projects to improve the area. - Monthly preparation of the calculation of commissions to distributors. - Review and signing of client account statements - Obtain and submit documentation in relation with authorities - Continuously work for improving efficiency in the department - Assisting external and internal auditors by providing information and explaining accounting treatments - Keep up to date with changes in the accounting and tax regulation. **Skills and experiences you will need**: - Experience in multinational companies minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions - Team management - Knowledge of Colombian Tax regulations - Intermediate English - ERP's management - Advanced Excel - Office tools **Behaviors**: - Team leadership - People development - Puntuality - Good communication at all levels - Multi task - Availability to travel **City**: Bogota - Colombia **United.
