Sr. IT Systems Engineer – Azure Cloud & Servers Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. IT Systems Engineer to join our team at Ravago Group. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server environments, and cloud security, as well as experience in Windows Servers, SQL Servers, and other Microsoft cloud tools. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks - Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. - Cloud Management: Manage Windows Servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, SQL, and Azure Stack). - Migration and Integration: Perform cloud migrations, deployments, and integrations with hybrid environments. - Cost Optimization: Optimize cloud costs and performance through effective resource management. - Disaster Recovery: Support disaster recovery, backup solutions, and high-availability strategies. - Infrastructure and Security: Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices. - Patching and Monitoring: Implement patching and monitoring processes for cloud and on-premises servers. - Network Architecture: Support network architecture design and optimization. - IT Operations and Support: Provide 2nd Level Support for the Service Desk team. - Documentation and Training: Document and standardize IT processes, including runbooks, designs, and automation scripts. - Collaboration and Innovation: Work collaboratively with the IT Architecture team to implement new solutions. - Project Participation: Participate in IT projects, including onboarding new technologies and services. - Global Standards: Ensure all implementations align with global IT standards and governance. - Accuracy and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and processes. - Security Audits: Participate in security audits and compliance assessments. - Cloud Strategy: Contribute to the development of cloud strategies aligned with business goals. Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate preferred. - Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud services. - Azure Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure environments. - Windows Server Administration: Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, GPOs, and SQL Server. - Cloud Security: Experience with cloud security principles, identity management, and access controls. - Powershell Scripting: Experience with PowerShell scripting (Terraform) and automation is a plus. Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA) - Azure Expertise: Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, networking, and security. - Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues. - Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical processes. - Problem-Solving: Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. - Collaboration: Capable of working independently and within a team environment. - Language: Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
