Job Description The Digital Experience and AI Innovation Manager builds out two main programs within Rockwell Automation, Lifecycle Services. First, the Digital Customer Experience, which brings together our external web interfaces to deliver customer insights, entitlements, support, pricing, and many other customer self-service focus areas. Second, the Digital Experience and AI Innovation Manager will lead our AI2 (AI Acceleration & Innovation) team. Reporting to the Director of Business Processes and Systems, this newly established team is chartered to accelerate AI use cases to value by: Encouraging Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation by helping teams experiment with technology, receive training and certifications, work with other SMEs, and test their ideas in a POC/sandbox environment. Scaling Ideas and Use Cases: Lead a governance team to review incoming use cases and determine which ideas will receive investment to grow and deliver tangible value. Navigating Challenges: Apply project management skills to overcome common challenges such as data integrity, development resources, user adoption, and incomplete project justification. Review progress and ensure AI technology investments produce returns. Your Responsibilities Provide leadership and daily management to a team consisting of direct reports, contracts, and shared service employees, including product owner(s), tech lead(s), and data scientists. Manage a multi-million dollar project budget and achieve investment ROI, including providing regular status updates to partners. Ensure on-time and quality releases of main technology deliverables. Lead collaboration across teams in an Agile process using tools such as Jira to develop new digital experiences that meet financial and digital goals. Foster an environment that encourages creativity and collaboration. Vendor Management: Engage and manage relationships with external AI technology vendors and partners. The Essentials - You Will Have Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field. The ability to travel up to 10%. The Preferred - You Might Also Have 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a tech-driven organization. Ability to analyze complex data to guide decision-making. Ability to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical partners. An innovation mindset with experience in new AI technologies. Project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Experience with multiple AI technologies, from low code to custom development, across a large engineering-centric global organization. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenAI, or Co-Pilot Studio. Certifications in AI or project management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).
