About the Opportunity Data Analyst Role The Data Analyst bridges the gap between IT and business by analyzing processes, identifying requirements, and delivering actionable insights to executives and stakeholders. This role involves working with business leaders to understand how data-driven changes can improve efficiencies and add value. The Data Analyst must balance creative ideas with technological feasibility and financial reasonableness. Key Responsibilities: - Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements. - Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications. - Conduct and coordinate research to support strategic and business planning within various departments and programs. - Interpret and evaluate research data, develop integrated business analyses, and create projections for incorporation into decision-making. - Perform regular reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports. - Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support recommendations. - Create informative reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement. - Conduct insightful analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues. - Work with IT and implementation teams to define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements. - Assist in developing KPI report production, automation, and validation.
