The Opportunity Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Cloud Architect for a full-time position (40 hours/week) in Colombia. Our client is a multinational professional services company based in Dublin, Ireland, specializing in IT services and management consulting. They provide system integration, application development, business process outsourcing, digital transformation, and customer experience enhancement across over 120 countries, serving industries such as media, finance, healthcare, consumer products, and resources. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture for large-scale enterprise solutions, including IT operations, infrastructure, or cloud computing. At least 3 years of experience with Azure cloud architecture, including designing, evaluating, presenting, and implementing solutions. Hands-on experience with Azure configurations, performance optimization, and certifications are highly desirable. Understanding of hosting infrastructure architecture, including networking, servers, firewalls, load balancers, IP connectivity, and SAN storage. Solid knowledge of PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Serverless technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create and defend technical business proposals. Self-reliant with initiative and minimal guidance required. Commitment to continuous learning and innovation. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or equivalent experience. Responsibilities: Ensure architectures meet security and compliance standards, including identity management, encryption, and data protection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. Act as a consultant for IT datacenter and cloud teams, working directly with client markets to design tailored solutions. Drive platform innovation and automation initiatives. Lead upgrades, improvements, and innovation proposals for IT platforms. Coordinate solution delivery to clients, ensuring standards are met and solutions are transitioned smoothly to operational teams. Support client market solutions design from IT suppliers, following latest trends and procurement processes. Identify operational requirements and gaps for new and existing solutions. Work with project management and suppliers to resolve root causes and escalations.
