The role of Accounts Receivable Supervisor involves managing the Collections team to ensure timely collection of past due accounts. Responsibilities include managing the collection process, developing client relationships, creating strategies for process improvement, coordinating with other departments, supervising staff, reporting on team progress, managing account changes and payment plans, organizing workload, approving collection communications, referring accounts for credit holds or extrajudicial collection, and assisting with difficult cases. Qualifications include a Degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields, with at least 3 to 5+ years of experience in collections operations. Experience in Credit, Billing, and Cash Application processes is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and strong analytical and reporting skills are required. Effective communication skills and a mindset of transformation leadership, impact, and continuous learning are essential.
