About the Role As a Senior Android Developer , you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering cutting-edge mobile applications for our clients. You’ll lead technical discussions, mentor fellow developers, and ensure that all solutions are scalable, robust, and user-centric. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced Android applications Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement new features Architect efficient, scalable, and reusable code using the latest Android frameworks and tools Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative development environment Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries as needed Stay up-to-date with new trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development Other duties as assigned About You Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of experience in Android mobile application development Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with strong knowledge of the Android SDK and related frameworks Deep understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture Experience integrating RESTful APIs and external data sources Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing Strong UI/UX design sensibility and experience collaborating with design teams Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting At.Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
