What would you do as a Team Leader - Investigations As the Team Leader of Investigations at CANDA Solutions, LLC, you'll be at the forefront of managing a dedicated team of remote Field Investigators. This pivotal role involves ensuring timely completion of investigations while upholding the highest quality standards. You will leverage your strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively oversee case assignments, assess investigator performance, and ensure strict adherence to customer contract guidelines. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Key Responsibilities: Manage a remote investigator team with defined expectations. Coordinate case assignments from start to finish, ensuring proper tracking and completion. Lead and manage a diverse group of remote field investigators, ensuring timely completion of assignments in compliance with established contract guidelines. Foster an empowering environment through effective communication, accountability, and motivation. Ensure a quality product is delivered to clients and customers within agreed timelines. Oversee investigator case workload management and workforce oversight within a designated geographic area. Collaborate with Case Assignment Coordinator for efficient case assignments. Provide ongoing oversight and instruction regarding new policies, clarifications, and guidance from customer(s), and CANDA. Supervise daily operations, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, coaching, and terminations. Manage administrative processes such as time-off requests, payroll approval, and preparation of investigator workload reports. Utilize government and internal database reports to manage investigators and workload assignments effectively. Work cross-functionally with other field management teams and support functions to fulfill contractual and corporate requirements. Conduct regular telephonic conferences for field staff and field visits as needed. Provide management with data and recommendations regarding staff promotions, pay increases, bonuses, and awards. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Active Top-Secret clearance. At least 2 years of experience as a Field Investigator. Intermediate to advanced computer skills; ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Demonstrated leadership ability, sound judgment, and decision-making skills. Strong ability to empower and positively influences a team. Effective communication skills with all client groups as representatives of CANDA. High level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity. Dependability, responsibility, and exceptional customer service skills. Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment. Willingness to travel as required. Ability to sit for long periods and lift to 25 pounds. Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Excel. Ability to troubleshoot issues with the team and scheduling. Desired Qualifications: One year of experience working on the a Federal background investigations contract (preferred but not required). Bachelor's degree preferred.
