The role We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our team as: Senior Oracle Database Administrator SoftwareOne Scope: Full-time | Office: Colombia | Remote How a day to day would look like in this role: Administration, installation, configuration, and monitoring of Oracle database engines (11g, 12c, 19c, 21c). Management of high availability solutions using Oracle RAC and Data Guard. Execution of backups, recovery, tuning, and proactive maintenance of databases. Support in basic administration of SQL Server environments (installation, monitoring, backups). Technical documentation of processes, configurations, and tasks performed. Participation in database migration, upgrade, or new environment implementation projects. Interaction with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure proper system performance. Desirable: experience managing environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). What we need to see from you Profile: Technical, technological, or professional education in Systems Engineering or a related field, with extensive experience in administering, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle databases (versions 11g to 21c), ensuring high availability, performance, and data security. Additional support in SQL Server environments is expected. Experience in cloud environments, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), will be highly valued.
