About the role: The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming and registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about hotel facilities and services. They handle phone calls, coordinate special requests, resolve guest issues, and manage check-out procedures to ensure accurate and efficient transactions. The role requires delivering exceptional and personalized service to ensure guests have a pleasant and seamless experience from arrival to departure. Responsibilities: Perform efficient and friendly check-in procedures, using guest names whenever possible. Ensure guests are assigned the requested room type and charged the correct rate. Manage check-out processes, verify guest satisfaction, collect keys, settle charges, and present invoices. Process payments accurately using various payment methods. Assign rooms for reservations at least 48 hours in advance. Handle daily billing processes. Attend to guests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, fulfilling special requests when possible, resolving complaints, and assisting with inquiries related to hotel services, hours, staff, events, and directions. Respond promptly and accurately to guest requests in person and via phone. Protect guest security and privacy, and maintain confidentiality of information handled at the reception. Requirements: Professional, technical, technological, or students in fields such as tourism and hotel management, service administration, business administration, foreign languages, or related areas.
