With a strong presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, we strive to inform, inspire, and foster meaningful conversations within our community. **Position Overview**: **Location**: Remote (US Pacific Time Hours) **Responsibilities**: - Develop and implement social media strategies to amplify our brand's reach and influence in the news and politics sphere. - Create engaging and informative content for Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok that resonates with our audience and drives meaningful discussions. - Produce high-quality videos, including news updates, commentary, interviews, and analysis, to enhance our platform's storytelling capabilities. - Research and incorporate trending hashtags and topics to optimize content visibility and engagement across social media platforms. - Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community by actively participating in conversations. - Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content and campaigns. - Collaborate with the editorial team to align social media efforts with editorial priorities and upcoming content initiatives. - Stay informed about current events, political developments, and social media trends to ensure our content remains relevant, timely, and impactful. **Requirements**: - Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Political Science, Communications, or related field. - Proven experience in social media marketing, with a focus on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. - Strong understanding of news, politics, and current events, with the ability to provide insightful analysis and commentary. - Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent writing and communication skills in both languages. - Proficiency in video production and editing, with the ability to create engaging and visually compelling content. - Ability to work independently and remotely, with availability during US Pacific Time hours. - Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging with diverse audiences. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience with social media analytics tools and ability to use data to inform content strategy and decision-making. **Salary**: $1000-$2000 USD per month
