Position type: Permanent Location: Bogota, Colombia Job family: Finance About Your Business Area/Department: The Bogota Finance Service Center provides comprehensive financial support to all companies within the Americas region. Our services include treasury management, source-to-pay processes, accounting, travel management, contract fulfillment, billing, and collections. Summary of the role: You will manage a portfolio of key customer accounts to recover outstanding debts, ensure timely payments, and maintain positive relationships. In this role, you’ll: Carry out dunning procedures, review exclusion proposals, issue notices, and initiate service suspension, reactivation, or termination based on customer activity. Respond to customer inquiries, provide invoice copies, contract details, and support timely payments using internal systems like SAP. Communicate via phone and email to gather remittance details, reconcile payments, and request corrective actions. Identify unapplied payments and recommend adjustments or refunds. Collaborate with billing teams and stakeholders to resolve payment delays. Review outstanding balances with account contacts and sales representatives. Support team members and contribute to collection efforts aligned with KPIs and SLAs. Analyze KPI variances monthly and propose process improvements. Manage reporting requirements, including aging analysis and performance tracking. About the ideal candidate: 3–5 years of experience in B2B collections or customer service in high-volume environments. Experience in international business or shared service centers. Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Effective communicator with negotiation experience. Organized and problem-solving abilities. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word. Advanced data analysis and reporting skills; experience with Macros, Power BI, Celonis. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
