Job Description We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional customer experience in our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for extending excellent service to shoppers and donors, encouraging positive relationships with clients and associates, and promoting a mutual associate/customer relationship. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist customers and donors upon entering the store. - Bag merchandise, answer phone calls with a professional greeting, and handle store returns accurately. - Receive, stock, tag, count, and inventory merchandise. - Assist in loading and unloading trucks from the distribution center. - Stock, merchandise, colorize, and size textiles. - Ensure items are safe and not on the Consumer Product Safety Recall list. - Perform general housekeeping, custodial, and janitorial duties as scheduled. Requirements: - Fulfill functional reading, writing, and mathematical skills. - Daily physical requirements include climbing, balancing, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, stooping, kneeling, handling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. - May be exposed to dust and odors. - May be required to do limited work outdoors. Safety and Security: - Responsible for following all safety, security, and money handling procedures. - Avoid unsafe work practices, involvement in unethical situations, dishonest/fraudulent work behaviors, or behavior that would damage the organization's good standing in the community. Work Schedule: - As assigned by store location. - May be required to work nights and weekends.
