The Role Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 8AM-5PM Central European Time We’re looking for a Senior Technical Webmaster who will own the technical backbone of our growth engine—keeping ours and our client partners’ web presence lightning-fast, secure, reliable, and revenue-generating. You’ll be the go-to person for everything from Core Web Vitals optimization to lifecycle marketing automation, email deliverability, and compliance across multiple regions. Your mission: ensure every visitor interaction—whether on-site, in inboxes, or through automation—performs flawlessly, meets strict performance targets, and drives measurable business growth. About You You’re not just a webmaster—you’re a strategic technical operator who builds for speed, stability, and scale. You: Keep Core Web Vitals green and page loads under 2.5s because “fast” is your baseline. Can manage any stack—CMS, CDN/WAF, ESP, CRM, analytics—and quickly adapt to new tools. Treat deliverability like a science, ensuring 95%+ inbox placement and bulletproof sender reputations. Understand GDPR, CCPA, AU Privacy Act, and accessibility compliance—and bake it into your workflows. Don’t just fix issues—you build resilient systems so that issues don’t happen in the first place. Use testing and experimentation as growth levers, not afterthoughts. Document processes in ways others actually use, enabling teams to self-serve and ship faster. What You’ll Own (Key Responsibilities) Own Our Web Presence – Ship high-performing pages, microsites, and features; maintain Core Web Vitals at P75 (LCP <2.5s, CLS <0.1, INP <200ms). Technical Webmaster Ops – Manage hosting, CDN, DNS, SSL certificates, caching, redirects, backups, and restore tests; sustain 99.9% uptime and zero critical integration errors. Architect Lifecycle Automations – Build segmentation, triggers, and branching journeys (email/SMS/push/in-app) that drive conversions. Safeguard Sender Reputation – Implement and maintain DMARC/SPF/DKIM (p=reject), BIMI, list hygiene, consent logs, spam-trap audits; meet bulk-sender compliance requirements. Security & Compliance – Maintain WAF, least-privilege access (SSO/MFA/RBAC), and patching cadence; ensure full compliance with GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, AU Privacy Act, WCAG 2.2 AA, and related laws. Run a Testing Factory – Plan, execute, and templatize at least two significant experiments per month, sharing wins across teams. Enable the Team – Create templates and playbooks so marketers can launch campaigns in under 30 minutes. Client Website Audits & Consultations – Review client partner websites to identify technical, performance, and UX opportunities; prepare actionable recommendations that improve site speed, security, SEO, accessibility, and conversion potential. Growth Positioning Advice – Provide strategic guidance to our clients partners on how to position their websites for better performance, higher engagement, and scalable growth, backed by data and best practices. You Must Have: 5+ years in technical webmaster, web operations, or growth engineering roles. Proven history of funnel improvements tied directly to revenue. Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JS, Git, SQL, and rapid tool adoption. Demonstrated success in high-volume email deliverability (≥1M emails/month, spam complaints ≤0.1%). Deep familiarity with CMS, ESP, CRM, analytics platforms, and related integrations. Strong written and verbal communication, especially in creating usable documentation. This Role Is NOT For You If: You’ve never managed site performance and Core Web Vitals targets. You haven’t built or maintained complex lifecycle marketing automations. You treat deliverability as an afterthought rather than a key metric. You rely solely on no-code CMS without deeper technical skills. You need constant direction to identify and solve performance or compliance risks. Bonus Points If You: Have worked in growth-focused, fully remote environments. Have rescued a blocked or damaged sender domain. Have experience with Postgres, BigQuery, or advanced data integrations. Have led large-scale web migrations or re-platforming projects. Can show a portfolio of successful experiments that drove conversion lifts.
