ACCOUNTING & TAX MANAGER (General Ledger Accounting Manager 20767). Experience dealing with external/internal and tax audits. Being a Certified Public Accountant of Colombia and/or Ecuador, Panama, Venezuela, or having experience working in such countries is a Plus. Experience working with Shared Service Centers is a Plus. Advanced English proficiency level (B2-C1) is a Must. Strong analytical and problem-solving capacity. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Manage all the accounting operating processes per the “Target Operating Model” with the shared service center in India and FICOM in Malaysia, driving accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting to management, and analysis of financial information. Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. IFRS), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control. Lead with tax outsourcing the preparation and delivery of tax returns, following up on open items to ensure prompt resolution of issues. Work with the key stakeholders in the agency to ensure full compliance with Internal Control policies (CMA, BASC), leading the execution of the IC Plan, following up on open items to ensure prompt resolution of issues. Control the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance. Perform as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests, both internal and external. Ensure quality and timeliness in the consolidation of information with head office. Identify areas of opportunity and implement processes improvements.
