In 2021, Rush Street Interactive expanded their global presence with a new development hub in Canada. Based out of Toronto, with members located throughout the country, the team is growing at lightning speed. We are currently looking for senior frontend engineers (internally referred to as Frontend Engineer) with extensive experience in React and JavaScript. This role is eligible to be performed remotely; however, applicants must currently reside in Canada. **What You Will Do**: - Design, develop, test and maintain websites and micro frontends built mostly on top of React and Angular using TypeScript to create an amazing experience for our end user - Architect and have technical ownership of website components, including enhancing modules and greenfield projects - Contribute to the company roadmap and innovation across the company **All About You**: - Minimum 5-years experience in software and website development, with extensive experience in React, JavaScript and the JavaScript ecosystem - Experience in Agile methods such as Scrum/Kanban, domain and test-driven development, and continuous delivery - Excellent understanding of unit test principles, multi-layer architecture, SOA principles and best development practices - Ability to navigate fast in large codebase - Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables - Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, paired with great troubleshooting skills - Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and a positive mindset - Collaborative team player and mentor who enjoys helping others grow their abilities - Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written) - Passion for modern technology, learning and sharing knowledge **Why Join Rush Street Interactive?** - Flexibility - Flex hours and remote work available; find a work schedule and location that works for you!
