The Director Communications for Cargill's Food business in Latin America leads the execution of tactical and strategic plans related to the organization's business communications, including internal and external communications, business relationship and reputation management, crisis, and organizational change communications. Key Responsibilities - Builds and executes holistic, multi-channel communication campaigns to drive awareness and engagement around business strategy. - Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on a wide range of communications issues and opportunities. - Leads the implementation of strategies that guide internal and external communication content and messaging across the organization. - Manages efforts to maintain a positive internal and external reputation by implementing strategies to improve and protect the organization's reputation. - Creates an employee communications strategy that connects our teams and fosters Cargill's company culture in the region. - Selects channels used across the organization to improve reach and engagement. - Maintains business relationships with internal and external partners. Requirements - 7 years or more of relevant experience. - Native Spanish language speaker; fluent command of the English language required. - Fluent in command of the Portuguese language desired, but not required. - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. - Expertise across internal communications, executive communications, external and crisis communications. - Strong business knowledge with a proven ability to use communications to drive business strategy. - Five years of supervisory experience. - Minimum ten years of essential communication or similar related work experience. - Experience working in a global company.
