This is a remote contract/consultant position. Working hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Job Description: The Analytics Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support business strategies. This role requires expertise in data science, handling large datasets, advanced analytical techniques, and proficiency with software tools designed for big data. The Analytics Analyst will collaborate with various departments, including financial planning and analytics, to promote data-driven decision-making across the organization. Essential Functions: Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions. Manage and organize datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency. Use big data tools and technologies to process and analyze structured and unstructured data. Support the development and implementation of comprehensive reporting tools across the organization. Assist with other projects and duties as assigned by the Business Analytics Manager. Fluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or related roles preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL. Expertise in data science techniques, including data mining and statistical analysis. Strong software development background, with experience using big data tools. Banking industry experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Teams.
