Responsibilities Lead and manage a fully remote development team of ~20 engineers across frontend and backend disciplines. Collaborate with CTO and Chief AI Officer to define and execute the technical vision and strategy for our products. Oversee software architecture and ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our solutions. Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team deliverables to meet company goals. Guide the team in adopting best practices for coding, testing, and DevOps processes. Foster a collaborative engineering culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and innovation. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field. 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership roles. Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend technologies (e.g., React, Python). Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi). Strong software architecture expertise, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable systems. Experience with AWS, including certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer). Proven ability to manage and scale remote engineering teams effectively. A track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
